Steelers to loose Super Bowl Trophies
Pittsburgh, PA. The Super Bowl XLIII Champion Pittsburgh Steelers, the only team to win six titles, will soon be loosing half of those trophies. After a meeting between NFL Commissioner Rodger Gadel and President Barack Hussain Obama, Obama decided to redistribute half of their Steeler Super Bowl victories and trophies to less fortunate teams in the league.
"We live everyday in the country that invented the Super Bowl." said Obama "We are not about to lose this Great American tradition in the wake of these difficult times." Obama’s plan calls for the Steelers, who are a successful NFL team, to give half of their Super Bowl trophies to teams that are not successful or have not been as successful as the Steelers. "The Detroit Loins are just as much a part of the same fiber of the NFL as the Steelers and they should, no rather will, be entitled to a Super Bowl Trophy as well." Obama explains in his plan that he has imposed on Godel and the NFL.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, who by virtue of hard work, excellent team play, stellar draft choices, responsible investing of free agents, careful hiring of coaches and excellent community service and commitment to their fans, has prospered greatly during the past 30 years and have won six Super Bowl Trophies. But President Barack Hussain Obama’s plan calls for the Pittsburgh Steelers to carry the larger burden of the NFL’s less successful teams. Obama went on to further proclaim, "In these difficult times we are all in this to work together. We must reclaim the NFL Championship Dream for every team, for every city and for every fan."
"My plan will not affect 31 of the 32 teams in the league." Obama assures. That’s over 95 percent of the teams in the NFL will not have to worry about loosing any Super Bowl Trophies. "The worst teams in the NFL and the teams that can’t seem to get a break and win a championship will no longer have to worry about going without a title." Obama promises. "We are a country and league of hope. We all need to make a change. It does not matter the color of the teams uniforms, the personal decisions that the teams make or their performance but rather if they are a member of this great American league."
The Super Bowl XLIII trophy will be redistributed to the 0-16 Detroit Lions. Through no fault of their own incompetence, the Lions could not manage a victory all season and this trophy will help ease the pain of their lack of performance and give them hope once again. The redistribution of Super Bowl XL trophy will go directly to the Steeler’s division rival the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals who also have fallen on hard times have never won a Super Bowl. This victory will bring a smile to hundreds of Bengal fans all over the world as they can now celebrate. Finally, one of the Steeler’s two Super Bowl victories over the Dallas Cowboys will go back to the Cowboys since the league needs to provide hope in the face of difficulty and provide hope in the face of uncertainty. This is a heavy burden for the Steelers but together we can all prosper.
All hope is not lost for Pittsburgh fans, Barack Hussain Obama has another plan in place. Obama has meet with MLB and commissioner Bud Selig on a similar plan. The New York Yankees will redistribute two of their world series trophies to the Pittsburgh Pirates as a supplement to their loosing 16 straight seasons and counting. This plan will help stimulate the Pirates and enable them to regain the American Dream. Barack Hussain Obama will be meeting with the NHL and Michael Phelps in the upcoming weeks as this issue is high on his agenda for "Hope and Change."
Obama provides hope to NFL teams. Steelers must now share their wealth and fruits of their success and hard work.

Come on Dazet, wouldn't it be great if the Saints got a SB trophy and we don't even have to do any work?

Yes this is a joke, but the example shown is what this adminstration wants to do as economic policy. The idea of taking from the achievers and giving to the parasites. That is how our tax code is built right now. While the example above may be viewed by some as ridiculous because the Steelers "earned" it, why isn't the same scrutinization applied elsewhere?

No I do not. And that upper limit has been lowered. The problem I have is this entitlement culture. There is no incentive to achieve anything anymore. If you work hard and make money you are taxed more, and subjigated to ridicule from people who do not have money. You go make money and have it taken away from you to give to someone else who is not doing anything but taking from people. I hate to break the news to ya'll, but the poverty class does not produce jobs. Trickle up economics is a fallacy. Trickle down, on the other hand, works. Keynesian Ecomonics does not work.
And save that "95% will see tax cuts" nonsense. Almost 50% of wage earners DO NOT pay incometax as it is. When you give money to the people who are not paying income taxes, what is that called? A tax cut, like Obama had the dumb masses (read fast) believe, or a hand out, which it what it is.
There is a reason the most socialist states in the Union (California, Massachusetts, New York) are failing miserably. The entitilemen mentality has gotten out of control. The people have figured out how to vote themselves money from the treasury. Go check that definition of socialism again

we're in a corporatist state (socialism for the wealthy (see: chris rock's distinction between "rich" and "wealthy") and you're complaining about socialism? our government is giving away trillions in free money to bail out failed industries and you're worried about these same people losing some tax money?
it sucks that the bar is so low but you don't complain about the tax…you complain about where the bar is set. what you should be complaining about is that they don't publish numbers on who makes over $5mil or $10mil in a year. you don't have the transparency to see exactly who is benefiting from both sides of the current (misguided) argument. the problem isn't the ammount of tax. the problem is too many on the low end get caught in it…so you get better information and set up a higher bracket for the people who bring in $5mil+/year. i think most of us can agree that we could make $5mil alone last almost a lifetime rather less as an anual income.

I dont complain about the tax? Look at my avatar! I want it changed to the Fair Tax. The Fair Tax would stimulate the economy. And of course I am totally against bailing out any of those industries. That goes against the free market, because the consumers are not picking the winners and losers in business, but the government is, which brings me back to the originl point. The government should not be in the private sector. Bush grew it and Obama is growing it. Bush hurt capitalism and Obama seeks to destroy it. That is really no surprise though because of his Marxist views.
I do not hate Obama, but I think he should take a glance at the Constitution while he is shredding it. There is a reason several states are beginning to reassert the 10th amendment.

i'm not exactly a fan either. he's shuffling his feet on getting anything done as far as holding those accountable who authorized torture from the top->down. not that i think the soldiers and low level "i was just following orders" people should have any charges against them but the top who authorized it from gonzalez to condi to rumsfeld to cheney to pelosi should all be held accountable for their parts in it. i'd say bush but it's getting more and more obvious he's just an inbred retard puppet that was put as a figurehead while everyone else actually ran the show.
also doesn't help that obama is re-engaging in that fucking area in afghanistan/pakistan. i know most americans hate history other than the whole self-felating of worshiping the whold world war II thing…but there is history outside that teaches us things: the soviet union lost most of their money and allowed most of their infrastructure to fall during the period where they were involved in cold war activities in the middle east. the teliban…bin laden….they're CIA guys who were trained how to drag out wars and bankrupt your opponent. engaging in them directly over there in conflict will only give us the same results: broke as fuck and collapsing infrastructure (as if our home hasn't seen enough failed infrastructure with the fucking flooding). bush's adiministration already bankrupted the hell out of us with the iraq war (not to mention bankrupted our global "political currency"…we gotta reprove ourselves to others now)
obama's also continuing the practice of kidnapping and subsequent torture, aka "rendition", doesn't help matters any. he's just obfuscating it more….torture is something that happens at lower levels alone and is decided by the courts if it's okay or not. i'm not saying it's okay in every instance but i'm also not saying that it should be completely barred….that's why we have courts to review individual cases. approval from the top->down in any form will only result in really bad things later.
but with all that said: coddling and protecting the uber-rich here has got to end. it's creating nothing but problems on the downside because bill gates is pretty much the only charitable one of the bunch other than paris whoring herself into getting her granddaddy to give up all his money. but there are still legacy families…blue bloods in a country that's supposed to be free for everyone…not the aristocracy alone.
that being said: i think keynsian economics can work. but the problem is that it requires solid investment in futures that will actually bring in a solid return in creativity and new products that are of value. we're already in the fiat monetary system and have been that way for a number of decades now…we could go back to commodities but most likely the commodity of choice would be oil if put to a vote and we all know where that'd put us. i think obama is starting to invest in the right areas but he's entirely deadly wrong about ethanol. the way to go is bio-electricity from corn….it's more efficient than making ethanol. can just mandate the car companies make so much % electric-only cars and upgrade the country's infrastructure to support charge stations throughout and throughout the interstate system. would be a large task but would make us the world leader in technology again and push our society ahead of everyone else.
and i'm not exactly a fan of socialized healthcare….maybe socialized insurance (it seems to be required in life anyways) but not socialized healthcare.
that and go back to the bible about loans and credit: usury is strictly banned.

Aw shit, I din't want to get into this, but oh well.
I too have a problem with people just wanting handouts. If you think there is no incentive to go out and become successful, you are crazy.
If you are satisfied living on welfare and not bettering your life then you are the type of person who wouldn't be worth a shit in the world anyway.
I think the whole government is broken. Republicans and Democrats. Anyone who sits here and waves either of their flags and thinks they are totaly wrong and are pretty
much retarded. Both parties have good qualities, but they both have more qualities that are shit.
I am all for getting an education or a trade and busting your ass to make your life successful. I am also for helping those who are less fortunate or who have fallen on hard times.
The laws we have in place now are designed to keep some down and some up. I'm not sure how, but I can't for the life of me understand how able bodied people are getting welfare.
There should be some kind of reform that requires welfare recipients to hold some kind of job to get a check. They could have had New Orleans rebuilt by now and probably had
the levees 10X stronger by just bussing in people who were getting welfare checks. How they gonna take care of their kids if they are working? Have free childcare during the
day while they work. They want a mass rail system built across America? There is their next project. I don't see how its so complicated. If you can't work, you need to be approved
by a government certified doctor to get disability or welfare.
Capitalism is fine with me, but when it becomes more about greed than anything, that is one of the things that is ruining the country. It is all about the bottom line, If I
make a product that makes 20% profit, I am doing good. I may try to make it a little more profitable, but when these companies get greedy or sellout to bigger companies and
go public, all of the investors want to see is profit. I understand that this is how the world works, but there has to be a line somewhere. When these greedy fucks build
the product at half the cost, and raise the price just to get more profits, they are fucking everyone. Who here has purchased one of these new "cookie cutter" houses recently?
The materials aren't as quality as they were in the past and the house cost twice as much. Do you think these houses are gonna be around in 50 years? You would be lucky for it to
be standing before you pay it off.
Don't even get me started on all of the outsourcing going on. Just to save some money these corporations are sending jobs overseas to make that profit. I know everyone here
has sat on the phone with tech support for a few hours with some Indian motherfucker for 2 hours and couldn't understand shit they said. You telling me you are allright with that?
It isn't all about the bottom line. And don't complain when the American worker is out of a job and on welfare because there is no need for him anymore.
There is gotta be a mid ground where both parties can come to some agreement about these things. I can’t say for sure what it is, but it seems to me the only people the politicians are looking our for is themselves. So don’t be waving your flag saying the other side is wrong, they both need to be fixed.

you're a sucker who's been taken hook line and sinker if you really believe that. you're as much a sucker as those morons who voted for obama.
anyways, america still hasn't seen its first black president yet. don't believe the lies. he's as white as you or me. and about 10^9 times as wealthy and more directly connected to the old english blue bloods.
you DO know that his first job out of college was working for henry kissinger, right? you know…famed republican…one of the archetects of the modern neo-conservative movement that you so adamantly fall in line with being a "southern republican".
