It's no big deal ,in my eyes…Houser, our longets tenured player, was 37 years old…Long snapper or not, he was getting long in the tooth and it was time to go.

I realize Kyle is no spring chicken himself, but he's a very experienced player at a specialized position who still has some gas in the tank. I hate to downplay the LS position, as one minor error from that spot can really turn a game, but it's a pretty minor move.

Most teams change out long snappers frequently, and very few people even notice.

I am glad though that the Saints picked up one of the better long snappers…It can only help as we move forward….Plus, and I'm not 100% sure of this, but I think we picked up Kyle for less than what Houser was getting…if that's true, that's just another plus.

I think its a waste on $$
